Description & history of the TAÏGA
Description & history of the TAÏGA
For thousands of kilometers, from eastern Siberia to northern Eurasia, stretches the Taiga: an uninterrupted coniferous forest, where temperatures are often freezing. To get through the harsh winters, its inhabitants collect blackcurrants, pine needles and rosehip berries which they prepare into a beneficial recipe. The Taïga infusion is inspired by this ancestral practice: invigorating and antioxidant virtues combined with delicious woody and fruity notes.
Notes:woody, fruity, and slightly herbaceous.

Julia's explanations:
“At the beginning of spring, young buds begin to appear on cedars, pines and fir trees. These conifers are the first reservoirs of vitamins, the animals know this and delight in the first appearances.
Men too, after a long winter, are grateful to be able to collect new plants full of energy, which they put aside to resist during the following winter, through energizing infusions.
The Taiga has always been a source of food and medicine for the people who live there. There is a local proverb that says: "If you can't find the right medicine within fifteen meters of you, you're not looking hard enough."
I designed the Taïga infusion with plants containing the maximum amount of vitamin C. I included a high proportion of berries (blackcurrant and rosehip), providing tone without being exciteable, since it is caffeine-free, and giving it a delicious taste.

Merci !
